Long Time No See

Wow y'all...it's definitely been a while. Over the past year that I haven't been blogging, I have been very busy. Just so this post doesn't get too long, I thought I might go category by category updating y'all on what's been going on in my life.

School: I'm currently in the eighth grade at Willow Wood Junior High and to be totally honest I'm quite scared to start high school. I try not to look into the future too much and to only worry about what is happening in the present. Only two and half more days until Christmas break and this semester has blown by. It amazes how fast time has gone by and how many memories I have already made this year. I have made so many new friends this year and I'm so thankful for every single one of them. School is going pretty well other than the fact that I wish I didn't have to get out of bed for it.

Cheer: In the past year, I have left Spring Creek Athletics and moved to Texas Lonestar Cheer Company. I am on Senior 3 Pink Fierce and every single lady on my team is such a blessing. They make my day better no matter how bad it was. Also, my coaches are amazing and I wouldn't trade them for anything. I  have improved so much over the past year and have gained many skills such as, roundoff backhandspring layout and a standing tuck. I have pushed myself to limits that I didn't think existed thanks to the help of my amazing teammates and coaches.

Summer Vacation: Yes, I know. I went out of order and put school before vacation but better late than never right? So this summer we took a family vacation to Placencia, Belize. It was an amazing experience and most definitely a very beautiful place. We stayed in a condo on a peninsula and across a canal. We were there for nine days and all of them were so worth it. The pictures can't even put into words how beautiful it was.

As you can tell, we did many different things during our stay. We went to a private island in the middle of the Caribbean, we took a tour of Monkey River, we went cave swimming and ziplining in the rainforest, and we also spent a few days on the beach.

Concerts; This summer, I went to a Wiz Khalifa and Fall Out Boy concert with Brooke and Kenzy. It was one of the best nights of my whole summer and I had the time of my life. 

On October 9th I probably had one of the best nights of my life. My lifelong dream of seeing Chris Young in concert was finally achieved when I got to see him perform at Country at the Ballpark at Skeeter's Field. My dad and I went together and it was great bonding time over something we both love so much, great country music. 

Those were pretty much the major events that have occurred this year. Sorry for not posting in so long! I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
