Helping Kids
Today I helped little kids (3 and 4 year old kids) to make some Thanksgiving crafts. I volunteered to be a helper because I have always LOVED, and I mean loved, helping little kids, especially if they are making crafts. When the first group of kids came in I thought they were so cute. Me and 2 other girls were helping the 4 year olds. The craft we were doing, an turkey puppet made out of a brown paper bag. I enjoyed helping this group of kids. The second group came in and they were the 3 year olds so you can imagine that they were adorable, and they were. When we explained how to put the eyes on the turkey, I saw the cutest thing, a girl instead of putting the eyes normal she wanted her turkey to be different so she put her eyes to the very left of the bag going vertically. She told me that she wanted the turkey to be different like her so she made hers different. I loved helping and I want to volunteer for other activities with the little kids. I also found out that when you are 12 you can be an assistant with a teacher (FYI I will be doing that). Oh, and by the way, GO TEXANS!!!!
