This weekend we went to Huntsville to play a baseball tournament. I wasn't to thrilled because I hate traveling for baseball. The whole way there I listened to music on the radio until we were to far from Houston to hear it. Then I had nothing to do. The rest of the way I looked out the window discovering things I had never seen before. On the way into Huntsville we passed Big Sam, the giant statue of Sam Houston. Mom wouldn't take a picture of it so you can't tell how big it is. When we got into town we drove in circles on the Sam Houston campus until we settled on the Comfort Inn as our hotel. Mom ended up passing the driveway so we drove about 2 miles down the road and turned back around to go back to the hotel which she almost passed again.
We went to bed late and woke up around 7:00 so we could get to the game by 8:15 which by the way, was awful. We won our first game and had a 5 hour break until we had to return to the next one. During the break we went to the Texas Prison Museum because Cole thought it was going to be awesome. The thought of Prison is not really thrilling. What scared me about the baseball park we played at was there were 2 prisons surrounding us. CREEPY!!!

Some Weapons, and a Walkie Talkie
The things they give you when you first enter prison. Shirt, Pants, Socks, Shoes, Comb, Toothbrush with handle cut off, Razor with end cut off, Soap cut in half, Toilet Paper, and a Red Sack to carry stuff.
The reason they half everything chopped in half our cut is because the prisoners know how to make weapons out of the ends or hide things inside of them.

The rest of the time we ate and did some other things and returned to the field by 5. We won yet again and it was late so I was tired and ready to go to sleep. We drove an hour to stay with Grandma and Papa for night. When we arrived they were not there so we waited. When they arrived we surprised Papa. I stayed up 'til 10:00 and I went to bed peacefully in my normal clothes (Because I left mine at home).
The next morning I had 2 chocolate chip pancakes. I took Papa on a cold golf cart ride and had some sort of fun driving. When we got back I got dressed properly and we left to Huntsville yet again. It was very cold and I was not one bit excited. The only thing I had to look forward to, taking pictures of my bubby.

We played the first game and did great. Now we had a 3 hour break. We sat at Starbucks and drank Hot Chocolate while I sat there reading blogs. When it was time to go I packed up the laptop and headed out the door. The last game, the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME, went by fast because I was playing football with a bunch of boys who I showed up with my running skills. When I had come back we had WON! 1st Place, WOO HOO!
Good Job NW Knights (Thanks for turning you head Lucas)I'm glad this was over but I loved visiting Huntsville and the SHSU Campus! The Pretty Campus!
