Destination Imagionation Global Tournament

I recently attended the Global Competition of a school activity I do called, D.I. We started our adventure at Regionals where we competed and placed 1st. From there we moved on to th State Competition. The top 4 teams got to move on, well sadly we got 5th. A couple weeks later our principal got a call saying that a team had to drop out. That means we got bumped up a spot and we were going to the Global Competition. We packed up and headed to Knoxville, Tennessee. Here was our crazy schedule.

• Wednesday- Opening Ceremony
• Thursday- Dollywood Theme Park and Duct Tape Ball
• Friday- Instant Challenge, 3M Challenge, and Pin Trading
• Saturday- Central Challenge, Awards Ceremony, and After Party



After we did all our performing and did almost all the activities on the agenda, we went to the awards. There, we placed TENTH out of 78 teams. We were so proud of ourselves. Next, the After Party. We had a 15 minute walk but it all paid off. There was music we could dance to, Moonwalks, Hamster Balls, and many other things we could do. We had so much fun. And that was the last night of our wild adventure to Knoxville, Tennessee.
